I started in the field — running cables, installing camera systems, wiring audio/video, and managing networks for businesses across East Texas. Two decades of hands-on tech work taught me how operations actually run: where the manual steps live, where the knowledge gets lost, where time disappears. Then I taught myself to code and spent the last five years as a software engineer.
Today I work in AI engineering — specifically, getting a business's own knowledge into AI systems so they actually work for that specific operation. Generic AI hallucinates because it doesn't know your processes, your SOPs, your customers, or your edge cases. The work is capturing that context and embedding it into systems that respond like someone who's been with your business for years.
